Job summary

University Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Program Manager II for BH Futures Youth Services in Kansas City, MO. The role provides leadership with and without the UHBH Director, ensuring quality services and accurate documentation by staff.

Responsibilities include reporting on performance improvements, managing program finances, and advancing department and service line outcomes. Requires MO licensure, two years in behavioral health, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in social work, psychology, counseling, or related human services field approved by Missouri after 7/1/2023
• Two years' experience; behavioral health population experience preferred
• Must be licensed or licensable in Missouri (MO LMSW for MSW holders)
• Must be a Qualified Mental Health Provider (RN, Social Worker, Licensed Counselor, etc)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work with a multicultural staff and clientele
• If driving is required, meet Fleet Driving Safety & Compliance policy
• Complete required orientation and leadership trainings on schedule for continued employment

Responsibilities

• Provide effective, coordinated leadership in absence of the UHBH Director
• Ensure staff documentation of clinical services is accurate and timely
• Report on performance improvement measures and oversee improvements
• Manage fiscal aspects for the treatment team
• Develop and improve department, program, and service line outcomes
