Job summary

North Alabama Shoals Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Program Director of Behavioral Health. This role oversees strategic planning, operations, budgeting, and policy enforcement to ensure high-quality, cost-effective behavioral health services.

Qualifications

• BSN required; Master's degree in nursing preferred.
• Licensed Master’s level clinician required.
• 3 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Licensure in State of Practice if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee behavioral health unit operations, including staffing, care delivery, and facility maintenance.
• Participate in strategic planning, budgeting, and marketing efforts to support program growth.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and accreditation requirements.
• Serve as liaison between hospital leadership, divisional teams, and unit staff to maintain collaboration.
• Lead change initiatives and promote a positive work environment.
