• Licensure in state of practice.
• 5 years of leadership experience.
• 7 years in this discipline.

Responsibilities

• Maintains overall responsibility for operations.
• Hires, trains, supervises, and evaluates nursing staff.
• Participates in nursing care as needed and ensures documentation.
• Participate in on-call schedule accordingly.
• Ensures policies established by the Governing Body are implemented.
• Directs strategic planning and marketing for programs.
• Prepares and submits annual budget for program as directed by VP, Finance Behavioral Health.
• Monitors community needs and hospital medical activities.
• Oversees leadership regarding program mission, productivity, and compliance with laws.
• Consults with leaders; maintains communication to foster morale.
• Ensures maintenance of facilities in good, safe state.
• Presents reports to hospital board/committees.
• Attends hospital board and committee meetings.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and accreditation readiness.
• Establishes performance improvement standards for care.
• Reviews plans to achieve program objectives aligned with the mission.
• Leads liaison between hospital and medical staff; represents programs externally.
