The Lyda Hill Institute for Human Resilience at University of Colorado Colorado Springs seeks a Behavioral Health Program Director to lead the Healing Division, including the Veterans Health and Trauma Clinic and Milestones Resilience Care. You will set strategic direction, manage budgets, oversee contracted providers, and ensure high-quality integrated behavioral health services.

The role requires a master’s degree in healthcare administration, psychology, social work or related field,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in healthcare administration, psychology, social work or related field.
• Licensure or license-eligibility as a mental health provider (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, PhD, PsyD).
• Strong understanding of behavioral health operations and FQHC regulations.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis, quality improvement methodologies, and project management.
• Experience with electronic health records and healthcare technology systems.
• Experience in healthcare compliance and privacy regulations (HIPAA).

Responsibilities

• Provide overall direction for sustainable clinical operations of the Healing Division, including budgeting and strategic planning.
• Develop strategic business analyses to improve revenue streams.
• Monitor clinic performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
• Oversee VHTC & MRC contracted providers and intake processes; ensure timely access.
• Supervise clinic staff and contractors to maintain quality of care.
• Ensure adherence to HIPAA and other privacy regulations; maintain compliance.
