Job summary

Patriot Enterprises LLC is seeking a program manager specialized in behavioral health to oversee administrative and clinical coordination for veterans services in the NCNG system. The role involves coordinating with multiple agencies and ensuring quality care for Service Members and families.

The position requires 1 year post-graduate experience in behavioral health program management and working with community agencies and military personnel, with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of federal and state laws governing mental health counseling and patient confidentiality.
• HIPAA and Privacy Acts knowledge in civilian and military settings.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Computerized Medical database systems preferred.
• Experience working on a virtual team preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage administrative functions: coverage/scheduling, travel requests, and coordination with case managers.
• Hold monthly meetings with Director to review utilization and messaging for Service Members.
• Coordinate to support NCNG Yellow Ribbon Program through Deployment Cycle phases.
• Develop networks with agencies outside VA for rehabilitative services to veterans and families.
• Oversee NCNG IMHS to provide crisis intervention, assessments, treatment, and counseling.
• Assist veterans and families using VA, Vet Center, and community resources.
• Foster relationships with federal, state, and local agencies handling related programs.
• Provide behavioral health care consultations with MTFs, VA, TRICARE or non-network providers.
• Educate Service Members and command on resources available for readiness.
• Ensure medical records align with APA Patient Administration functions.
• Generate utilization, case management, and critical cases reports for leadership.
• Coordinate non-clinical referrals for housing, finances, food, and utilities.
• Address crisis situations promptly for high-risk individuals.
