Neighborhood Outreach Access to Health (NOAH) is seeking a Behavioral Health Program Coordinator to provide operational, administrative, and program support for Behavioral Health services, with a primary focus on BHT service lines.

Reporting to the Behavioral Health Program Manager and working with the Behavioral Health Clinical Manager, this role ensures efficient workflows, compliance, and effective service delivery across sites.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; 2+ years in behavioral health field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Management, Public Administration, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day logistics of BHT onboarding and staff scheduling with Clinical Manager.
  • Identify and help resolve workflow, scheduling, documentation, and operational issues impacting service delivery.
  • Assist with implementation, monitoring, and improvement of clinical and operational processes.
  • Coordinate projects supporting program growth, efficiency, quality, and compliance.
  • Monitor operational metrics and assist leadership with tracking program performance.
  • Assist with payroll-related information for BHT staff and communicate concerns.
  • Manage EHR templates for BHT services lines.
  • Communicate with patients and families to identify care-related issues and escalate as needed.

Job Summary:

The Behavioral Health Program Coordinator provides operational, administrative, and program support for Behavioral Health services, with a primary focus on Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) service lines. Reporting to the Behavioral Health Program Manager and working closely with the Behavioral Health Clinical Manager overseeing the BHT teams, this position serves as a key liaison between clinical and operational teams to ensure efficient workflows, compliance, and effective service delivery.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates day-to-day logistics of BHT onboarding and staff scheduling alongside the Clinical Manager.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and help resolve workflow, scheduling, documentation, and operational issues impacting service delivery.
  • Assist with implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of clinical and operational processes.
  • Coordinate projects and initiatives that support program growth, efficiency, quality, and compliance.
  • Monitor operational metrics and assist leadership with tracking program performance.
  • Compiles and reviews payroll-related information for BHT staff and communicates concerns with the Clinical Manager.
  • EHR template management for the BHT services lines.
  • Communicates and collaborates with patients and families to identify problems relating to care and escalating clinical concerns to the Clinical Manager as appropriate.
  • Explains policies, procedures, and services to patients using behavioral health or administrative knowledge.
  • Attends, participates, and/or assists in meetings, trainings, and other activities as required.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
  • Exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, clinical environment.
  • Ability to interact with individuals of various social, cultural, and educational backgrounds.
  • Good organizational skills and administrative abilities.
  • Ability to adhere to the professional code of ethics.
  • Working knowledge of behavioral health terminology.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
  • Ability to exercise confidentiality, and discretion.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software; comfort with EHR scheduling systems (e.g., Epic).
QualificationsEducation and Experience:
Required:
  • High School Diploma or GED required;
  • 2+ years of experience in the behavioral health field required.
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Management, Public Administration, or related field preferred.
Other Requirements:
  • New Hires are required to pass pre-employment background check and drug testing (effective 11/1/2022).
  • Current Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card or must submit fingerprint clearance application within 7 days following hire.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, insurance, and ability to travel between locations.
