Job summary

Centurion seeks a full-time Licensed Behavioral Health Professional for the Baltimore Central Booking and Intake Center (BCBIC) in Baltimore, MD. You will provide mental health case management, intake assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning and group therapy in a correctional setting.

Requirements include Maryland LCPC or LCSW-C and a Master’s degree, 3,000 LMSW hours, CPR/BLS certification, and the ability to obtain security clearance. Corrections experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed LCPC or LCSW-C in Maryland.
• Hold a Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or a related field.
• Completed 3,000 hours of supervised social work experience (LMSW in two years) and passed a state-required exam.
• Experience working in corrections preferred.
• Must be CPR/BLS certified.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance (drug screen and background check).

• Provide mental health case management to patients in a correctional setting.

• Deliver individual and group therapy as part of a multidisciplinary team.

We are currently seeking a Full-time Behavioral Health Licensed Professional to join our team at Baltimore Central Booking and Intake Center (BCBIC) located in Baltimore, Maryland.

The Licensed Behavioral Health Professional provides mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting and consults with a multi-disciplinary team in providing comprehensive mental health care, including: intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and providing individual and group therapy. Hours are typically M-F, regular business hours.

Qualifications:

• Licensed LCPC or LCSW-C in Maryland
• Hold a Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or a related field
• Completed 3,000 hours of supervised social work experience as a LMSW in two years passed a state approved required exam
• Experience working in corrections preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
