Job summary

Andwell Health Partners in Bangor, ME seeks a Behavioral Health Professional to support youth with cognitive impairments in home and community settings. This per diem role offers flexible scheduling and on-site client visits.

You will follow treatment plans, build daily living and social skills, and collaborate with a supportive team. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required; prior work with children is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Compassionate & caring demeanor.
• 1 year of experience working with children is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support youth, one on one, who have cognitive impairments and functional limitations, to build daily living and behavior management skills in both their homes and community settings.
• Follow a treatment plan to promote healthy, developmentally appropriate behavior and social skills at home and in the community.
• Ride-along or job shadow opportunities to learn about the role.
