Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) is an intensive, non‑residential mental health service for individuals with serious mental illness who often face multiple barriers to successful functioning, including co‑occurring substance abuse, homelessness, and unemployment. ACT teams help clients manage their mental illnesses and develop life skills to thrive in the community of their choice.
