Job summary

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our behavioral health team in Arizona.

The PCT provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, assisting with medical and crisis-related needs and ensuring unit safety. Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED required. Associates Degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of Health Care related experience where his or her prior experience would provide adequate exposure to both behavioral and medical crisis situations.
• 3-5 years of Health Care related experience where his or her prior experience would provide adequate exposure to both behavioral and medical crisis situations required for the Pool PCT.
• 5-7 years of Health Care related experience where his or her prior experience would provide adequate exposure to both behavioral and medical crisis situations required for the Float PCT.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• The PCT is a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team that provides direct care to behavioral health patients under the medical direction of a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Responsibilities include safety of the unit and elevating concerns to the RN or designee as needed.
