Job summary

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) seeks a Patient Care Technician to join our behavioral health team in Arizona. The PCT delivers direct patient care under the medical direction of a Registered Nurse, both in person and via telephonic support, focusing on safety and quality of care.

The role supports the multi-disciplinary team, works to ensure patient comfort, safety, and engagement, and helps maintain a stable, respectful environment for our patients at CBI facilities.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED required. Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months of health care related experience where his or her prior experience would provide adequate exposure to both behavioral and medical crisis situations.
• Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Maintain unit safety and address environmental and patient safety concerns as needed by escalating to the RN/Manager.
