Job summary

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency serving Arizona with a range of programs for crisis services, recovery, and support.

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) works with the treatment team to provide direct patient care under RN supervision and to maintain patient and unit safety. The role emphasizes compassionate, hands-on care for individuals experiencing crisis or substance use and mental health disorders, within a supportive, growth-focused nonprofit

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or higher preferred.
• At least 6 months of health care related experience with exposure to behavioral and medical crisis situations.
• Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to behavioral health patients under the medical direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Assist with daily care activities and safety of the unit; escalate safety concerns to RN or supervisor as needed.
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary treatment team to support patient well-being and recovery.
