Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking a Part-time Behavioral Health Occupational Therapist to join the team at MedStar Montgomery Medical Center. The OT evaluates and treats patients ages 13+ referred by physicians and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective treatment plans.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, Maryland OT licensure, CPR certification within 90 days, and some experience in mental health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• OT licensure in Maryland required.
• CPR (BLS/NRP) within 90 days required.
• Experience with mental health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats referred patients using appropriate assessment tools and communicates findings.
• Formulates treatment plans and goals with the interdisciplinary team.
• Mentors team members and participates in staff and student supervision.
• Maintains documentation and compliance across departments.
