The role involves supervising intake/discharge processing, monitoring client behaviors, and promoting adherence to treatment plans within a safe, therapeutic environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in a related field, two years ofexperience with target populations, and strong skills in supervision, reporting, and interagency collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related human services field with two years of experience serving target population; equivalent substitutions may apply.
• Knowledge of personnel and administrative policies, supervision principles.
• Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and psychotropic drugs.
• Familiarity with Baker Act and Marchman Act provisions.
• Ability to write clear, concise reports and provide written feedback to staff.
• Ability to enforce safety and operational procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervises development and delivery of efficient operations to provide client treatment services.
• Provides regular training and coaching to promote professional development of staff.
• Writes program reports and documents progress for reviews and audits.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal requirements for facility licensing.
• Participates in team meetings and program activities with partners and agencies.
• Oversees admission and discharge processes and orients clients to the facility.
• Manages basic life skills activities and documents client behavior changes.
• Develops staff schedules in line with regulatory standards.
• Controls and de-escalates aggressive clients using approved techniques.
• Communicates effectively with distressed clients to diffuse situations.
• Coordinates transportation operations as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
