Job summary

The Recovery Village Palm Beach at Baptist Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Manager to lead the Behavioral Health Technician team across shifts, ensuring safe, compassionate, patient-centered care.

You will oversee staffing, training, and documentation, collaborating with nursing and clinical staff to support treatment plans and recovery-oriented care for adults. This leadership role supports Advanced Recovery Systems and its mission.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years of direct experience in the behavioral health field required.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience working with adults in treatment facilities.
• CPR and Standard First Aid certifications required.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, conflict-resolution, and staff-development skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities of Behavioral Health Technicians and Senior Behavioral Health Technicians across all shifts and treatment modalities.
• Develop and communicate staff schedules, ensuring appropriate coverage.
• Lead staff recruitment, onboarding, orientation, training, competency assessments, coaching, and evaluations.
• Monitor departmental documentation for accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate with nursing, clinical, and medical teams to support treatment plans.
• Ensure patient monitoring per level of care and enforce facility rules fairly.
• Support patient safety using verbal de-escalation techniques and maintain professional boundaries.
• Assist with patient intake activities and report abnormalities to nursing staff.
• Promote recovery culture and engagement post-discharge.
• Participate in leadership meetings and facility improvement projects.
