Job summary

The Recovery Village Palm Beach, in partnership with Baptist Health, seeks a Behavioral Health Supervisor to lead frontline staff in a patient-centered addiction and mental health program. You will work closely with Nursing leadership to ensure safe, compassionate care during each shift.

Ideal candidates bring supervisory experience in behavioral health, strong communication and leadership skills, and a commitment to evidence-based practices in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; a health-related degree or equivalent supervisory experience is preferred.
• Experience supervising Behavioral Health Technicians and clinical staff is expected.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred; valid driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Behavioral Health Technicians, Senior BHTs, and Drivers during assigned shift.
• Collaborate with Behavioral Health Manager, Director of Nursing, and Charge Nurse to ensure safe, therapeutic patient care.

Advanced Recovery Systems is seeking a Behavioral Health Supervisor to join The Recovery Village Palm Beach in partnership with Baptist Health. This role supports a patient-centered environment dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based addiction and mental health care. As part of the Advanced Recovery Systems family, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team committed to improving patient outcomes and supporting individuals on their path to recovery.

About The Recovery Village Palm Beach in partnership with Baptist Health: The Recovery Village Palm Beach provides a safe, supportive, and structured environment for individuals receiving treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. Through its partnership with Baptist Health, the facility is committed to comprehensive, high-quality care. The Behavioral Health Supervisor plays an important role in supporting patients, leading frontline staff, and maintaining a safe, organized, and therapeutic environment throughout the assigned shift.

The Behavioral Health Supervisor oversees Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs), Senior BHTs, and Drivers, as applicable, during their assigned shift. This position works closely with the Behavioral Health Manager, Director of Nursing, and Charge Nurse to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate patient care.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in a health-related field with 3+ years of behavioral health experience, bachelor's degree with 1+ year of BHT or similar patient-care experience, or 4+ years of supervisory or behavioral health/patient-care experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience working with the applicable patient population preferred.
• CPR and Standard First Aid certification required.
• CNA, MA, Medication Technician/QMAP, CBHT, or similar certification preferred.
• Good driving record that meets company safety and insurance standards.
• Strong communication, leadership, organization, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and work effectively in a fast-paced behavioral health environment.
• Ability to manage stress and respond appropriately to challenging situations.
• Ability to walk, stand, sit, reach, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds.
