The Nurse Supervisor provides supervision of all patient care areas, applying independent judgment, and linking clinical care with administration.

Responsabilidades

• Assesses patient care requirements on each unit by making rounds throughout all areas of the hospital.
• Ensure the departmental staffing plans are implemented appropriately.
• Serve as a resource to staff for solving clinical problems.
• Assist staff to efficiently utilize staffing and other resources to meet patient care requirements and other professional responsibilities.
• Provide for immediate follow-up, documentation and communication of incidents to the appropriate manager and director.
• Respond to emergency situations and assists as necessary.
• Act as a resource in identifying and/or solving administrative/operational problems.
