Nationwide Children’s Hospital is seeking an experienced Nursing Administrator to oversee weekend, evening, and night nursing operations. The role coordinates hospital operations, ensures quality of care, and guides educational activities under leadership direction.
Requires a BSN, Ohio RN licensure, at least two years of nursing leadership experience, and the ability to manage staffing and emergencies across multiple units.
Shift: 6:30pm- 7:30am FTE: 0.6- 0.9 (24 hours/per week- 36 hours/ per week) Starting Rate: $51.81 with potential for higher pay based on relevant experience. Plus $5.20 Night Shift Differential. Expected to support all Behavioral Health nursing units as needed at the direction of leadership.
Oversees administrative and patient care services nursing administrative decision-making during weekends, evening, and night shifts. Responsible for coordinating hospital operations, patient quality of care, and educational activities. Acts as the hospital spokesperson about external communications.Practices in accordance with Children's Hospital mission and philosophy, and hospital and Patient Care Services division policies and procedures. Models the values of Children's Hospital.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or related discipline, preferred. May be currently enrolled in such a baccalaureate program, or have commensurate leadership experience.
Registered Nurse with current licensure to practice as a professional nurse in the State of Ohio, required.
