Job summary

Highlands Behavioral Health System is an 86-bed acute care psychiatric hospital in Littleton, CO. The Nurse Manager oversees patient care delivery, supervises RN/BHA staff, and supports training initiatives in alignment with hospital policy and mental health standards.

This role collaborates with the CNO/ACNO, participates in Treatment Team meetings, and contributes to performance improvement efforts while ensuring staffing coverage across shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required or equivalent combination of education and experience in nursing management; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure coordinated delivery of patient care in accordance with standards of care, mental health practice and hospital policy.
• Supervise House Supervisors, RNs and BHAs; monitor staffing needs on assigned shifts.
• Assist CNO/ACNO in evaluating, reviewing, designing, and implementing hospital training events for RN/BHA staff.
• Provide patient nursing assessments on an as-needed basis.
• Participate in Treatment Team meetings as needed.
