Universal Health Services (UHS) in Clive, IA seeks a Nurse Manager to oversee coordinated patient care, supervise RNs and MHTs, and support training initiatives. The role partners with the CNO to implement staff development and compliance with standards in a high-acuity behavioral health setting.

The incumbent will monitor staffing, participate in Treatment Team meetings, and drive educational programs while ensuring quality and safety across shifts.

Formación

• Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of progressive nursing leadership experience; one year required. Staff education and 24-hour shift staffing experience.
• Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Iowa State Board of Nursing.
• Additional Requirements: CPR certification within 30 days of employment; Verbal De-Escalation and Handle With Care training; Service Excellence Training within 90 days.

Responsabilidades

• The Nurse Manager ensures coordinated delivery of patient care per standards and hospital policy.
• Supervises House Supervisors, RNs and MHTs; monitors staffing on assigned shifts.
• Assists CNO in evaluating and implementing staff training and education events; participates in Treatment Team meetings.
