Job summary

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions in Columbus, OH seeks a Behavioral Health Nurse (IDD) to join our part-time evening team. The role supports children and adults with psychiatric needs across service areas.

Responsibilities include health screenings, injections, medication monitoring, client education, and skills coaching in emotion and stress management, under supervision of the NP.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
• Preferably has experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

• Perform health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administering injections and other medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer medication.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client information and history from the Nurse Practitioner.
• Case management duties including coordination of community services.
• Assist clients in building skills including emotion, stress and anger management, communication and interpersonal relationships.

Education

RN license

Graduate of accredited nursing program

Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services

Behavioral Health Nurse IDD

Part Time Monday-Friday 4pm-8pm

No Weekends

LPN $23-$25 per hour

RN $30.77-$34.13 per hour
