Job summary

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions in Cincinnati seeks an experienced registered nurse to address the behavioral and physical health needs of clients with psychiatric symptoms. You will perform screenings, monitor medications and educate clients about pharmaceuticals, while coordinating case management and community services.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, RN license, and willingness to travel across the assigned service area.

Qualifications

• RN license and accredited nursing degree are required.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services preferred.
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area.

Responsibilities

• Address behavioral and physical health needs of clients with psychiatric symptoms.
• Perform health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administer injections and medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer medications.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client information and history from the Nurse Practitioner.
• Coordinate case management and community services.
• Assist clients in building skills in emotion, stress and anger management, communication and relationships.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
• Preferably has experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
