Job summary

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions in Ohio is seeking an RN for a full-time weekday schedule (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm) serving Brooklyn Heights, Cleveland and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include addressing behavioral and physical health needs, health screenings, vital signs, administering injections, monitoring medications, educating clients, and coordinating with case managers and psychiatrists.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioural health services.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
• Preferably experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Address the behavioral and physical health needs of clients receiving treatment for psychiatric symptoms.
• Perform health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administering injections and other medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer medication.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client information and history from the Nurse Practitioner.
• Case management duties including coordination of community services.
• Assist clients in building skills including emotion, stress and anger management, communication and interpersonal relationships.

No Weekends

LPN $23-$25 per hour

RN Salary $64k-$71k per year
