ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions in Ohio seeks a registered nurse to contribute to individualized care across age groups, supporting behavioral and physical health needs. You will perform screenings, monitor medications, educate on pharmaceuticals, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate services and help clients develop coping skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
• Preferred experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsabilités

• Address the behavioral and physical health needs of clients receiving treatment for psychiatric symptoms.
• Perform health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administering injections and other medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer medication.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client information and history from the Nurse Practitioner.
• Case management duties including coordination of community services.
• Assist clients in building skills including emotion, stress and anger management, communication and interpersonal relationships.

Formation

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

RN license

Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services
