SAC Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our Behavioral Health team, working with psychiatrists and psychologists to deliver age-appropriate care. You will assess patients, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications within the NP scope of practice.

You will collaborate with a diverse health care team, participate in ongoing education, and contribute to standard-of-care improvements. This is a full-time, on-site position at the Brier Clinic in San Bernardino.

Formación

• Education: Master’s Degree and NP curriculum; Doctorate preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: CA RN license and NP certificate; NPI preferred; DEA license recommended.
• Experience: 2+ years RN in psych/behavioral health; 1+ year as psychiatric NP; EMR experience; bilingual preferred.
• Interpersonal/Mental Abilities: Strong communication; teamwork; cultural competence; critical thinking.

Responsabilidades

• Assist psychiatrists and psychologists in reviewing patient condition and plan.
• Assess mental status; develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications based on condition and plan.
• Monitor medication effects on mental health.
• Document care and planning in the medical record.
