Qualifikationen

• Active California Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in good standing.
• Experience in behavioral health, psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, post-acute, skilled nursing, or long-term care preferred.
• Experience conducting psychiatric evaluations and managing psychotropic medications is strongly preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct patient care in skilled nursing facilities and collaborate with facility teams and Behavioral Health Medical Director.
• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and monitor patients with behavioral health needs.
• Conduct behavioral health evaluations, including PHQ-9 screenings and other psychiatric assessments.
• Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications in accordance with applicable laws and CMS requirements.
