Job summary

Ohio State University is seeking a Behavioral Health Patient Navigator in the Psychiatry Department to support the Young Adult Program and related services. The PN will coordinate enrollment, scheduling and outreach, working with an interdisciplinary team to connect individuals with prevention, treatment and recovery resources.

The role involves triaging referrals, maintaining program materials and assisting with IRB-related data collection while promoting accessibility for diverse populations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, communications, public health or related field.
• 0 years of relevant experience required.
• 2-4 years of experience working with patients, public health services and/or community-based programming preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage with prospective participants and provide information about program content, costs and scheduling.
• Review and triage referrals and coordinate enrollment for individuals and groups.
• Maintain scheduling and posting of upcoming program offerings and update program materials.
• Support IRB processes and coordinate data collection for research projects related to Young Adult Program.
• Assist with advertising, community outreach and partnership development to raise enrollment and awareness.
