Optima Medical is seeking a Behavioral Health Medical Assistant to support telemedicine psychiatric providers across a remote setting. The role involves coordinating virtual visits, preparing patients, and maintaining accurate records to ensure high-quality care.

The ideal candidate will be a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) with 1+ year of behavioral health, telemedicine, or outpatient primary care experience, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in behavioral health, telemedicine, or outpatient primary care preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients for virtual appointments by confirming demographics, medications, and visit details.
• Obtain and document patient health information, including behavioral health screening tools.
• Support psychiatric providers during telehealth visits with documentation and coordination.
• Assist with medication refills, lab orders, prior authorizations, and pharmacy communication.
