Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support providers in delivering patient care within the Behavioral Health Service Center. The part-time position involves indirect task management, test tracking, and Gaps in Care activities to help deliver a positive healthcare experience.

Candidates should complete an accredited MA program/externship or be EMT/Paramedic certified, with CPR.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with MA program/externship/internship.

Responsibilities

• Indirect work support and task management.
• Tests tracking and Gaps in Care.
• Support within scope and prior authorizations.
• Quality control, lab logs, practice audits.
• OSHA safety protocols maintenance.
• Transcribes exam info, diagnosis and plan into medical record.
• Assists with specialty tasks after training.
