Job summary
New Mexico Solutions in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Medical Assistant to support nursing and prescriber staff in client care, medications, and rehabilitation services. The role shares shift-management responsibilities with other staff.
The ideal candidate will assist with health and behavioral health assessments, coordinate psychiatric treatment with medical treatment, provide direct clinical services, and document all activities in a timely, compliant manner.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Medical Assistant certification required.
- Experience supporting nursing/prescriber staff is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Supports nursing/prescriber staff in health, behavioral health, medications and rehab services.
- Assists with client assessments and coordination of care.
- Document all services meeting regulatory standards.
- Share shift-management responsibilities with team.
