PeaceHealth is seeking a Medical Assistant–Behavioral Health for a full-time, day position. The role supports physicians and the care team, focusing on behavioral health workflows and patient preparation in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities include patient history, vital signs, room setup, specimen handling and data entry in the EMR. The position requires MOA/MA certification and BLS; experience in a medical office is preferred.

Formación

• Accredited Medical Assistant program or MOA-aligned credential.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a medical office preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required on hire.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare patients for examination and collect histories and vitals.
• Set up rooms, equipment and supplies for exams and procedures.
• Assist with injections, dressings and minor wound care under supervision.
• Maintain sterilization and prepare treatment areas.
• Input data into electronic medical records and support patient scheduling.
• Coordinate with team to ensure smooth clinic operations.
