Job summary

Voyages Behavioral Health, an affiliate of PAM Health, seeks an LPN/LVN to provide patient care on an inpatient behavioral health unit. Under supervision of the CNO or House Supervisor, you will apply the nursing process and collaborate with the care team to plan discharge and educate families.

Requirements include TX LPN/LVN licensure, current BLS, crisis management certification, and 1 year of behavioral health nursing experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Licensure as LPN/LVN in TX required.
• BLS certification required.
• Crisis management certification per hospital policy required.
• One year of inpatient behavioral health nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise care to patients in the nursing unit using the nursing process.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including discharge planning and family teaching for post-hospitalization.
• Access community resources to support patient care and family needs.
