Job summary

DHR Health in Edinburg, TX is seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent to join our Behavioral Health team on a PRN basis.

The LPC/LCSW Therapist will conduct psychosocial assessments, individual and group therapy, and treatment planning. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in discharge planning while delivering compassionate care to patients across adult, adolescent, and geriatric units.

Qualifications

• Texas-licensed (LCSW/LPC/MFT) or license transferable.
• Master’s degree in social work, counseling or psychology.
• Current BCLS or certification within 3 months of hire.
• CPI training within 30 days of hire.
• Bilingual/cultural sensitivity and strong communication.
• English reading/writing proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provides psychosocial assessments, group and individual therapy.
• Participates in treatment and discharge planning.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team.
• Documents findings accurately and timely.
• Contributes to community relations program.
• Works with Adult, Adolescent, Geriatric units.
