Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in social work from an accredited university.
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker; transferability to TX license if licensed elsewhere.
• BCLS certification required within 3 months of hire date.
• CPI training within 30 days of hire date.
• ANE training on Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation.
• Must be sensitive to cultural and bilingual issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Prefer hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the facility mission, vision and values in daily services.
• Documents findings accurately and formulates the plan of care.
• Represents the program well in interactions inside and outside the hospital.
• Complete family sessions within 24 hours of patient admission unless justified for delay.
• Completes discharge plans for patients with existing support systems.
