Job summary

Socket.dev offers an in-person internship for Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) interns, giving you hands-on experience with children in homes, schools, clinics, and community settings. You will implement treatment plans, collect data, and work under a clinical team’s supervision.

Ideal candidates are studying psychology, education, ABA, or related fields, and should be enthusiastic, dependable, and eager to learn; driver’s license and transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Background clearances are required.
• Prior experience with children is preferred but not required — training is provided.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with children to help them develop meaningful skills and progress toward individualized goals.
• Implement treatment plans under the guidance of our clinical team, collect data, collaborate with supervisors, and provide one-on-one behavioral support in homes, schools, clinics, and the community.
