Job summary

Socket.dev offers an in-person internship for Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) interns, giving you hands-on experience with children in homes, schools, clinics, and community settings. You will implement treatment plans, collect data, and work under a clinical team’s supervision.

Ideal candidates are studying psychology, education, ABA, or related fields, and should be enthusiastic, dependable, and eager to learn; driver’s license and transportation are required.

What You'll Do as an intern:

Unlike other internships, as a BHT , you'll work directly with children to help them develop meaningful skills and make progress toward individualized goals.

You’ll implement treatment plans under the guidance of our clinical team, collect data, collaborate with supervisors, and provide one-on-one behavioral support in settings such as homes, schools, clinics, and the community depending on your assigned cases and as approved by your university.

Requirements

This is an in-person position, with services provided wherever the client is located, including school, home, and clinic-based settings. Case assignments are made based on your geographic location, availability, willingness to travel and approval from your university.
