Job summary

ABA Support Services in Bethlehem, PA offers paid internships, field experience and practicums in affiliation with approved universities. You’ll work on real cases under supervision, providing one-on-one behavioral support to children in homes, schools, clinics and community settings.

We seek students studying psychology, education, behavioral health, ABA, child care or related fields who are compassionate, dependable, eager to learn and motivated to help families.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children preferred but not required.
• We provide extensive training!
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Position works on site where client is located; travel may be required.
• Completed background clearances required prior to hire.
• Must be able to assume various postures during interaction with clients.

What you'll do as an intern:

Unlike most internships, you'll assigned real cases and will work under the guidance of experienced professionals. You'll work directly with children to help them develop meaningful skills and make progress toward individualized goals. You'll implement treatment plans under the guidance of our clinical team, collect data, collaborate with supervisors, and provide one-on-one behavioral support in setting such as homes, schools, clinics and the community with the approval of your university.
