Job summary

Western Wayne Family Health Centers seeks a Director of Behavioral Health to lead the administrative management and day-to-day operations of our behavioral health programs across all locations in the Dearborn area. The role emphasizes integration with primary care and supervision of clinical staff.

You will shape QA/QI initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance (HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2), and collaborate with medical leadership to deliver patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• State of Michigan license as Masters level social worker (LMSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) required.
• LPC certification as LPC Supervisor preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in mental health, 3 years in management of behavioral health services.
• Experience with assessment, screening, and treatment planning for common mental health and/or substance use disorders.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Behavioral Health staff and services across WWFHC locations.
• Collaborate with medical leadership to integrate psychiatric services with primary care.
• Develop and supervise QA/QI programs for behavioral health.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 and other regulatory standards.
• Maintain an administrative focus while potentially supervising a limited clinical caseload.
