Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing.
• 2–3 years in substance abuse/psychiatric settings with intake/admissions experience.
• Licensed to practice by the Missouri State Board of Nursing; CPR etc. required.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephonic and in-person risk assessment to aid the physician in level-of-care decisions.
• Coordinate referral and intake processes; facilitate admissions; communicate with families, patients, and staff.
• Work with Business Office on patient financial data, verification and insurance prior authorizations; collaborate with UR for certification.
