Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania seeks a CMHSBG Planner to lead federal grant management and develop behavioral health training across the Commonwealth. You will oversee grant tasks, coordinate subject-matter experts, and support statewide planning through the Mental Health Planning Council.

The role requires one year of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree, with telework options and a standard 8:30 AM–4:30 PM schedule in Harrisburg.

Qualifications

• One year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs; a bachelor’s degree is required.
• An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of such work may qualify.
• Must meet Pennsylvania residency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Grant Oversight: research, applications, funding development, and monitoring.
• Training Development: develop topics, review materials, and build sessions.
• Expert Coordination: vet subject matter experts and coordinate involvement in training initiatives.
• Council Leadership: serve as staff on the Mental Health Planning Council and support statewide planning.
• Independent Decision-Making: apply analytical skills to support program improvements.
