Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in Harrisburg seeks a CMHSBG Planner to lead federal grant management and develop behavioral health training across the Commonwealth. You will oversee grants, design training topics, and coordinate experts for statewide initiatives, while supporting the Mental Health Planning Council.

This full-time role offers telework up to three days per week, with standard hours 8:30–4:30, and opportunities to grow in grant administration and program management within PA’s

Qualifications

• One year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs; and a bachelor's degree.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs.

Responsibilities

• Grant oversight: manage federal grant tasks, including research, applications, funding development, and monitoring activities
• Training development: develop training topics, review materials, and build sessions using training software
• Expert coordination: vet subject matter experts and coordinate their involvement in mental health training initiatives
• Council leadership: serve as key staff on the Mental Health Planning Council and support statewide planning efforts
• Independent decision-making: exercise analytical skills to support program improvements within established guidelines
