Job summary

Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center in Florida is seeking an Environmental Service Worker/Housekeeper to clean and sanitize patient and non-patient areas, maintaining a safe, aseptic environment within an intensive inpatient program.

The role requires sweeping, mopping, dusting, disinfecting and related duties, following safety policies and working with patients, families and staff. The schedule is 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with rotating weekends off and a Tuesday off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; housekeeping experience is a plus.
• Ability to work safely with cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service areas in the facility: sweeping, mopping, dusting and disinfecting.
• Maintain aseptic environment in residential, common and non-patient areas.
• Report unsafe conditions and follow safety policies under supervision.
