Job summary

Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center in Bradenton, FL, seeks an Environmental Service Worker/Housekeeper to maintain a clean, aseptic environment across inpatient units and common areas.

The role covers sweeping, mopping, dusting, disinfecting, and occasional project cleaning; you must follow safety policies, interact with patients and staff, and lift up to 50 lbs. Shift is 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with rotating weekends off (Tuesday off).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred or housekeeping experience.
• Ability to read, write and follow instructions; able to communicate in English.
• Previous hospital or patient facility experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service areas in the building according to area assignments.
• Sweep, mop, dust and disinfect rooms and facilities.
• Perform project cleaning tasks such as wall washing, window washing, light fixtures, upholstery and vents.
• Follow safety policies and report hazards to management.
