Job summary

Geisinger Behavioral Health Center Northeast is actively seeking a Chief Medical Officer to lead clinical strategy and physician engagement while overseeing quality initiatives across a growing behavioral health organization.

The CMO will maintain a clinical practice and guide innovation in inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, shaping the residency program and expanding capacity as the system grows.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with Psychiatry residency required.
• Board Certified in Psychiatry.
• Eligible for Pennsylvania medical licensure and DEA.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for a 92-bed behavioral health hospital.
• Lead and support a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and APPs.
• Drive clinical excellence, quality improvement, and physician engagement initiatives.
• Help advance innovative care models across inpatient and outpatient services.
