Job summary

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• 2 years of experience in Behavioral Health, corrections, healthcare, or related setting.
• Training in WELLE or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to interact with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a safe environment for patients, visitors, employees and hospital property by rounding in behavioral health units and the psychiatric emergency department.
• Engages patients and promotes a safe, therapeutic environment while collaborating with clinical teams.
