Job summary

Kipu Systems is seeking an Implementation Specialist II, EMR in Salt Lake City, UT. This full-time role leads end-to-end implementations for behavioral health centers on the Kipu EMR platform, from discovery to go-live readiness, while mentoring peers and improving processes.

Responsibilities include designing solutions, configuring workflows, training clients, and managing project risks and timelines to ensure successful deployments.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience implementing an EMR or 3+ years implementing other SaaS-based software products.
• Demonstrated ability to lead discovery, configure systems, and train end users independently.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead structured client meetings and drive decisions.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with competing timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery conversations to identify client goals, clinical workflows, pain points, and constraints.
• Translate client requirements into clear, actionable configuration decisions aligned with best practices.
• Configure workflows, forms, and settings accurately on the first pass, anticipating edge cases.
• Deliver structured, goal-oriented training that prepares clients to use the system independently.
• Own project documentation, ensuring records and project plans reflect reality.
