Qualifications

• RN licensure in appropriate state is required.
• MSN preferred or enrollment within 1 year, with MSN completion within 5 years.
• Management experience is preferred; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations for the ED/Observation unit and lead Clinical Supervisors, RNs and Tech staff.
• Ensure compliance with Nursing Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• Recruitment, orientation, credentialing and ongoing staff development.
• Guide budgeting and cost-effective staffing while promoting quality patient care.
• Promote shared governance and evidence-based practice in daily operations.
