Easterseals PORT Health in Aberdeen, NC is seeking a Part-Time Behavioral Health Direct Care Technician for the Adolescent Residential Home. You'll work on-site 4pm–12am, including every other weekend, supporting youth through counseling, group activities, and life-skills development.

Required are a high school diploma or GED, up to 1 year of relevant experience, a valid driver's license, and proficiency with EHR systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of relevant experience in substance disorders or working with youth preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license and auto insurance for agency vehicles.
• Proficiency with EHR systems or technically savvy.

Responsabilités

• Providing and maintain a therapeutic and safe group environment.
• Attend to the welfare and basic needs of clients.
• Provide informal counseling that involve behavioral techniques, reality therapy, supportive encouragement and socialization skills for the clients.
• Facilitating and participating in group activities, accompanying clients to NA/AA meetings and community outings.
• Provide transportation to and from events and meetings along with assisting in life-skills development.

What You’ll Do
