Heluna Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Specialist to join the CIRCLE program in Los Angeles. The role, under supervision of the Program Manager, works with a Peer Recovery Specialist as part of a two-person Response Team to address diverted non-violent incidents involving unhoused individuals needing services.

This temporary, grant-funded, full-time position includes benefits. You will conduct outreach, HMIS enrollment, CES assessments, and link clients to housing and supportive services

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, behavioral science, public health, nursing, criminal justice, or another related human services field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Associate's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, behavioral science, public health, nursing, criminal justice, or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Peer Support Specialist certification AND CADAC/CCAPP certification with 4+ years of related experience.

Aufgaben

• Lead a two-person Response Team within the CIRCLE program.
• Collaborate across the program and homeless service system to achieve program objectives.
• Coordinate outreach to minimize duplication and maximize service delivery with area lead agencies and homeless outreach teams.
