Job summary

BrightView Health in Asheboro, NC is seeking a dedicated Counselor to support recovery efforts within our treatment team. You will apply addiction therapy knowledge, conduct group sessions, and contribute to intake evaluations in a dynamic clinical setting.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling, active LCAS licensure, and at least two years of related experience; we offer comprehensive benefits and professional development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling or a related field
• Active LCAS or LCAS-A licensure as required by state
• Preferred 2 years of relevant field experience

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct group therapy sessions and patient intake assessments based on clinic needs and best-practice guidelines.
• Provide crisis and de-escalation techniques.
• Assist with treatment planning.
• Review progress towards treatment plan goals.
• Coordinate patient care with the onsite multidisciplinary team.
• Attend required meetings, including on-site staff meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Timely and comprehensively document all necessary treatment data into the electronic patient health record.
• Follow adherence to all necessary regulatory and company compliance requirements.
